That's what I was gonna say. I guess just for the sake of having the latest? Or maybe you will need 1.91 to get to 2.00 is what it sounds like to me....

It means when v2.0 is out you will have to patch it with 1.91 before or it won't let you upgrade

I don't know where you got this "Notes" part from, but when you check the Matrix Infinity site here, it actually says:

October 20, 2006
Firmware V1.91 Released.

Released today V1.91 Firmware for the Infinity Modchip.
You can Download it from HERE.

New Features and additions:
- Firmware code Enhancement

Notes :
- Hopefully the last enhancement before V2.00 release :-).

And inside the "readmeV191.txt" file inside the firmware it just says:

------------

- Firmware code Enhancement

EDIT: Maybe they updated their site shortly after mentioning this "Firmware code Enhancement necessary for release of Firmware V2.00"?
