so im i have the PsTwo slim motherboard on the table next to my soldering-iron.
its a v15a, i dont know where to put the chip, i soldered for bout 2 hours, and got 5 points solderded. i thought this seem good, and the points were good, but soon as i moved the chip (since it was two points under the chip, 3 cords went off. so i have to solder them back on (again) dunno how many times this has happend today.

nothing is burned, its just abit brown, looks fine, think it will work if i remove the chip.

anyway, if anyone has any tip for how to sold the best way in a v15a, please lemme know.

and if anyone has a complete installation pic of the motherboard, please lemme see.

tips and suggsetions on how to do it, and complete install pics. lemme see

    please help me out

I just finished my 1st mod a week ago. I used pieces of masking tape to hold the wires after they were soldered through out the process. I pulled out each wire out from the masking tape when I was ready to work with it to solder it to the chip. Afterwards all masking tape is removed.

Since it was my first install I left a little slack in my wires and didn't superglue/hotglue them all together onto the system board. Yes that would have looked nicer, however if I had a cold solder joint (one that lacks conductivity) then I could go back and resolder or even replace the wire with out having it too tight to resolder.

Thankfully I didn't have to resolder anything.
