dvd backups not working

I just installed a MI Greendot into my v4 but,it will not boot any dvd backups.it just sits there saying reading disc,however all originals and cd backups are working just fine

yes im using 8x taiyo yudens and im burning them at 4x

hmmm i just tried some of my Maxell backups and their all working....thats weird though because all of my taiyo yuden backups work when i boot them with cogswap
