I've got a scph-90000 japanese ps2 which I want to mod with modbo760 or MARS PRO GM-816HD. Do I need to install any laser fix for this model? I've already read on this forum that only V12 needs laser fix, but I want to make myself super sure, so please tell me that I'll be fine with just the chip installled, so I can sleep well.

    Thank you.

    No need anymore.

Even if it dies, a new one is so cheap than you cannot bother.
