    Hey all.

I've had my infinity for quite a while and have always just used HDLoader as my DEV1 application. I installed it that way using a CD ISO I found on the net that simply set everything up for you. However, I'd like to put a launcher program as my DEV1 app and put the rest of the apps on my HD. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work right. I've tried using both PS2MENU-K and doing it through FTP. It seems that putting the app in mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF doens't actually work. Before I deleted my old BOOT.ELF I did notice that it actually showed up in the mc0: folder with the name /BOOT/BOOT.ELF rather than showing up in mc0:/BOOT as BOOT.ELF

I'm not sure what the difference is that caused this but whatever it is, it's apparently important as I can't get anything to boot when I hold R1 now. If you guys could give me some advice on how to get this setup again, I'd be really greatful!

you need to change the name of ps2menu or whichever .elf you want to use to BOOT.ELF on computer now put that in mc0:/BOOT/ and it should launch

    Thanks for the reply.

It actually turns out that there was something wrong with my BOOT folder on mc0: Like I said, before I would always see /BOOT/BOOT.ELF in mc0: which was weird. When I investigated a little more I found out that the folder I had been putting my new BOOT.ELF into wasn't actually named BOOT but rather \BOOT I don't know how this happened, but after I deleted that folder and created a new one called just BOOT, everything has been working perfectly.

Quite a strange error in my opinion, but all is well now. Thanks again!
