I've been out of the loop and been mainly on xbox-scene with me xbox :D but I decided its time to mod my V1 ps2...but it feels like I'm behind about 2 years
1) Whats teh difference between MI, MI green dot, MI yellow dot etc? Will the green dot from Netmech be sufficient?
I have a bunch more questions but I'll be searching for those...thanks for all the help :D
Yes the green dot will be perfect, all the different colours just mean an updated version of the chip but most of the older chips can be updated anyway,, really the main problem you will find is if your installing in a v14 slim, only the green dot will work in that which is what netmech has anyway, its the latest revision

alright great thanks alot..I don't have to worry about the v14 slim...considering I have the grand V1 launch date ps2 lens problem and all :D
