component output for the slim ps2

I just got a Matrix Infinity Green installed and I can no longer use my component cable to display a picture. The composite works fine but the component just shows no input signal on my screen. I have the infinity v1.82. I am wondering if the modchip is supposed to disable component output? or if there's some option I need to enable. Also, has anyone else run into this kind of issue? =(

scratch that...my first post and it's straight stupidity. So I thought RGB was the default setting for component as I had never touched it prior to getting my system modded. I jumped to the conclusion that RGB was correct because the component cables are red green blue. problem fixed after I change it to the Y Pb setting.
