Codebreaker 9.2. doesnt work on 1.82v

Hi guys, I have the matrix chip with version 1.82 and also the store bought codebreaker 9.2
So I load the cd into the ps2, the ps2 loads the disk and shows me the playstation 2 matrix v.182 screen then puts me back to the ps2 browser window.

what could be wrong?
here are my settings for the matrix manager:
Infinity option configuration menu :

PS2 SCREEN FIX : COLOR

PSX SCREEN FIX : OFF

PSX MULTI DISK : OFF

MC16 PATCH : ON

ATAD AUTO PATCH : ON

MACROVISION FIX : ON

GREEN FIX : OFF

DVD VIDEO REGION : 8

DVD9 DL SUPPORT : ON

BOOT MODE : AUTO

PAD DETECT TIME : 2

BOOT LOGO : OFF

Oh P.S. I tried my friend's action replay and that works fine. It's just my codebreaker doesnt.

CodeBreaker has anti-modchip protection. Also try upgrading your firmware to the latest (v1.88) - shouldn't need to as v1.82 does have CodeBreaker v9.2 compatibility, but you never know.

tried that and same thing

I went to my brother's ps2 that has the other chip, it's not made by matrix and on that it works fine, it's the chip that you have.

i too have 1.82 but with a backup of 9.2, and it works fine
even a 1:1 copy with all the protections still on the disc
so it should be the same as an original (data-wise)

try disabling ATAD Auto Patch and configure it to manually boot into ps2 mode
