Clone or Authentic Matrix Infinity?

Hi all,

I've seen your posts regarding the clone vs real matrix infinity chips, and I went to browse the authorized resellers in your website. Mod-chip.com is offering a Matrix Infinity, but their picture shows it with a white pcb and no actel* stamp on the chip. Is this a clone after all?

Thanks for the reply. Would you know of any reliable online retellers in the US for MI boards? A lot of sites recommended by the afterdawn.com forums have gone down.

I've ordered a Duo3 Ultra from these guys it works great, but they're MI also looks legit. It's from Thailand though, but you really have nothing to worry about when ordering from these guys.

Yeah, I saw this as well. I'll probably go with it. I did notice a canadian reteller that sold a variety of modchips that looked legit,

but they do not ship mod material across to the US. Is there a legal reason, like the US banning the import of these chips?

Yeah, retailers get in trouble for sending chips to the US sometimes but mod-chip.bz sent me a chip and there site is still up, so I'd go with them. The owner used to be from psxtune.com, but they had to relocate to escape pressure from the anti-pirating organizations.
