Having tried an AR Max and three seperate versions of Codebreaker, it seems impossible to use cheat devices effectively with this chip/firmware. The AR/CB software loads just fine, but from that point, will only play commercially bought games of the system's native region. No imports or burns will be allowed to pass. Is there any way to disable the sleep mode to bypass this nonsense, or do I have to go looking around for an ooooold chip to replace this thing? Or am I missing something else entirely?

Seems like a conflict of interests to only be able to play illegal software cheat-free, and only cheat with legit software.

Edit: Would help if I mentioned, MI v1.82 on a modbo chip, slim PS2. CB versions tried: 7, 9, 9.2.
