    Hi I just installed a Infinity chip in V3 pal and I have a BSOD on boot ,if I then press reset it takes me to Sony browser as if no chip installed any help needed.

    double check all your soldering and wires.

    i resoldered the modchip on the modchip side earth wire 1cm long,power wire 2cm long still the same bsod on boot ,then i press reset and it goes to the sony browser just plays originals as if no chip installed
    help someone please

    if you remove the chip does it boot originals? Can you post a pic of the install?

    yes it boots originals I stated that already its as if there is no modchip

    if your 1000% sure of your wiring and connection then i'd suspect the chip.

    Several steps to follow

    First wat is the version of your infinity .because when it is a homebrew it needs to be upgraded first,you can regonice the version on the colored dot on the chip

    second did you check all your wires especially point W

    can you make a picture of your install ? then we can check where the mistake is
