blue do tMatrix Infinity
so, you get no boot... only the logo right ? try leaving the reset button down for a couple secs, and then let her boot; then reboot several times, to test if everything is normal... but if what you're saying is that you are just worried about the logo and still boot games, no more worries, logo on boot can be disabled pressing pad's Circle+Triangle on boot.
Actually it is the Big matrix Logo by itself.I can't get into the menu at all.I tried the hold reset and nothing i tried updating the firmware and nothing.I have installed quite a few of these which is why im worried cause i have never seen this happen before. From what I've read through research it seems that it would be that its a clone but I checked it and its not it has a blue dot on it.Thanks for the response, i tried everything I know and just cant get it 2 boot.
on ps2 versios lower than v9, logo can actually reside on screen for 12 secs or more, if you don't connect a pad into the machine ....
Yes that I Tried also. The issue is that it was working fine with no problems and one day i booted it and it has A Big Matrix Logo on the screen. From what I've read on forums it would suggest that I have a Clone but its a blue dot chip.I've compared it to the originals and it is exactly alike. So I know its not a clone.I am just wondering if something could be done to save it or would I have to get a new one? It's just weird that it was working fine and just stop working.I have checked all connections all is fine.
Why not try reflashing it ? And you can use it again, if you need to re-do all the wiring.
What do you mean reflashing it?Do you mean upgrade the firmware? If that is what you meant I already tried that and nothing. Is they any other way of flashing with the chip disconnected?I mean if I desolder it is there a way to flash of the computer or something?
