The best Media Player for the PS2

What is the best Media Player ?

I am looking for a player that can play avi files.

I have installed SMS and Reality Media player but both struggle to play without jerking and having lipsync problems.
I am playing from good media DVD-R's, when in PC, they play great.

Anyone have the same issues or know of some better applications for seemless viewing.

Use an XBox. lol. Sorry, but the XBox media center plays anything and everything and will probally always be better than SMS or any other player. Buy a cheap XBox at a pawn shop, softmod it and turn it into a media player. That's what I've done with all my XBoxes. Turned them into media players, all hooked into a network with a 750GB server for all the media.

No, but I got one of those a long time ago, and had to save up for it. Now I have to save up to feed myself.

Well the PS2 homebrew scene isn't as big as the XBox one, so I'm not sure if you'll ever have a media player that will play anything and everything perfectly. Another cheap option is get a cheap TV out video card for your pc, and run some long cables to the TV and watch your stuff there. That or spend a few hours converting your avi's to DVD's, burn them for 50 cents a piece and play them that way.

The last option would be the best ... on a $40 wallymart stand alone player.
