I have noticed that the ripper copy of the infinity v1.21 mod chip has some issues with a few of my backups.
It seems that some of my games, albeit few, play in black and white.
Does anyone here know of a fix?
Thanks

what region is the game and what region is your console?
I strongly recommend S-video cable if you TV has S-video, the problem will most likely no longer occur.
If you're in a region where TVs use PAL format, and you're trying to play an NTSC game that you downloaded off the net on an older PAL TV, chances are it'll be in black and white. I'm not sure if the same thing happens the other way around (playing PAL on an old NTSC TV), but I'm pretty sure that your issue has to do with differing formats.
I agree with maddogmike and yes there is a fix, let us know what model ps2 is and then can tell you what the fix is
cheers
looking through your old posts I presume it is a v10.
if this is right here is the fix
Why not use an S-Video cable?
for a start if its playing in black and white then its obviously an older tv so it probably wont have an s-video inputQuote:

You are right, it's a v10, 50004a, see here http://www.mod-chip.com/ps2version.htm for more
So I can do that or use a newer TV?
My TV is old in PAL format, the game maybe NTSC.
Does this help someone figure this out?
Thanks
On my TV NTSC games are in black and white with composite cable,
but in color with S-Video cable.
