    Hi

    1. I can't find the readme file, that descripes how to make a CD with applications for the Matrix Infinity manager.

    2. Is it possible to update the MI firmware from mem card ? ulauncher ?

Could someone please point me in the right direction ?.

    TIA

    Thanks, that solved problem one.

I have a PS2 V9, with no cd drive. It burned, så I removed it completly. The MI installed in the machine is firmware 1.21, so no DEV1 direct boot support.

To get it updated I see 3 options.
    1. find a working drive, and update via. CD.
    2. install chip in PS2 with working drive, and update.
    3. update chip via. program on mem card ?! if this is possible ?

I have another PS2 with MI and working drive, så it is no problem getting programs on mem card, USB, HDD etc.
The problem is getting the chip updated, with option 3.

    Any ideas ?

It is possible to update the firmware running the .elf from the memory card.

But do you have an app installed that can browse the memory card and run .elf's from it?

If so, you're all set. Just download the MI firmware, open it up using something like isobuster and copy the .elf from there onto a memcard (I guess you'll have to burn it to CD, put that in another PS2 etc)

OK.. So 'all' I have to do is make a mem card, with the following :

    Matrix memory manager
    uLauncher for matrix memory manager
    I.ELF from matrix firmware (1.88)

    ??

Can the old firmware in the chip (1.21) run the newest memorycard manager ?

How would you do that ?

PS2link running on the PS2 via. mem card, PS2link running on the PC, and then executing the I.ELF ?

If that is possible, that would be very smart !
