    I tried flashing my v12 ps2 to Firmware 1.54 and now all i get is the matrix screen when i turn on the ps2 with the mod. Please help or did I just **** up my ps2.

    I have that programer, and i can tell there is no other way to downgrade de fake infinity.

    Where to buy the kit for to reprogram a failed MI chip yellow dot and fake chips (mobdo)?
    I have 2 computers, one under winxp and one under win98se.

    Don't stress too much my friend. You can recover your fake MI with a little bit of effort. You need to look and see what sort of 8 leg serial eeprom is on the modchip. It should be SAIFUN 005 or 010 or STM 25P10V6. Next step is you need a programmer that can reprogram one of these. Next step is you need 1_4 firware file to flash with and its your lucky day coz I have extracted it off upgrade disc. Good luck!
