after matrix infinity, PS2 no play region 1

I instaled it, well got someone else to install it, now it won't play my original dvd s. . How do I fix this problem? Its not even all dvds, just a lot of original ones.

I installled my mode chip, now i dosen't play my original region 1 dvds. what gives? how do i fix it?

The DVD movie might have RCE protection. You can set the RCE region for the Infinity in the settings menu. Hold triangle and circle from standby and tap rest, keep holding triangle and circle until the settings menu appears.
