You can use the tutorials below to patch and skin your own HDL. If you do this you will want to select a different image for the GUI that will support the "bigger game list" and "child safe" options. Child safe makes it so no one can alter any of the games on the HDD.

I need this too. But i have a problem. I have a patched hdloader. It's working perfectly. I don't know which version it is. I tried hdl 8b/8c with different patch combinations but no luck, it didn't boot some games. But old hdloader works perfectly, it boots every game i have. I created ~50 hdloader 8c/8b/7.. elf but all of them are same, not booting same games unlike old hdloader i have.

I need to patch my old hdloader and disable toolbar. How can i do this? I tried with hex editor, i checked hdl patcher source and i found something :

buffer[0x4a2c] = 0x00;
buffer[0x4a2d] = 0x80;
buffer[0x4a7c] = 0x00;
buffer[0x4a7d] = 0x00;
buffer[0x4a7e] = 0x00;
buffer[0x4a7f] = 0x00;

buffer[0x4a81] = 0x00;

But i can't do something with hex editor with these.

Any help make me happy, really.

As i said, if i use new gui patcher, my hdloader is not booting some games. I don't know why but it seems 8b/8c is not working correctly for me. I did a lot of tests. It's working differently with different hdds and different games. Sometimes it's not booting, sometimes it's boot.

I've select Mark the Child Proof Patch but Menu tool bar still appear

I think Mark the Child Proof Patch for disable select button only
