    Hi

Since two days, i'm trying to change menu and splash images of HDL 8.0c with BMPBATCHv4.0 but i'm always getting error when ps2packer starts. I figured out Unpacked.elf becomes around 1-15 kb when i unpacked it.

I also tried hdlgui8b_r2j but it didn't work on my ps2. Files size becomes 172 kb. Original HDL 0.8c 604kb.

What is the right what to do this please help?

    Thanks.

Using hdlgui8b_r2j is the best app for this, but dont be too concerned on the resulting file size afterpacking, as your images will decide the end file size of the HDL.ELF thats produced.

The plain and simple images, like a solid background will produce the smallest filesize, while a complex image with a landscape design will be much bigger and cause your HDL.ELF to be that much bigger as well.

Heres a guide that will help you and also has a clean, unpacked HDL.ELF you can download and use. Dont bother with the link for the HDL Patcher, as you got the latest one already.
