HDL Quick Skin and Compress

Here's my small batch file to skin, mod and compress your hdl executable.
i hope some ppl will like it. all the files needed to get you started are now bundled (with permission)

It will
* Apply Zer0-X's v9 patches
* Skin with BMPs
* Compress with ps2-packer

forgive me, I'm not exactly versed in Windows, but what is the difference between a .bat file and a .cmd file?

And you have a bad programmer function (well, not really a function, but I can't think of a better word)...but no possible way to get to it

quick reply! .bat and .cmd are the same thing. .bat is generally for windows 9x systems, and .cmd is generally for NT systems (2000, xp). this program will only work on NT based os, so i named it .cmd instead of bat

Nice tool! But HDL2BMP is included with HDlCng, and that works as well. no bugs :0 I got 1.06mb the file with the original HD Laoder skins.

you should be able to reduce that alot.. reduce the colours in photoshop (indexed colours) then increase back up to RBG colour, then save. ps2-packer can compress the file alot better then

thats a joke for sure ! you are comparing a thing that tons of people have no idea how to use as "works well".

to that program hypersonic has devoloped.
