aparintly Lfighter doesnt know what hes talking about ither.. MC exploit is just for loading to emulaters like Sega, Snes (no PS1 emu's as of yet) and homebru apps. and menu's... Anyways PS1 games do not work on PS2 HDD's as of yet.. Nor will they every proubley... This has been discusied ever sents HDloader has come out and no one has found a way to make PS1 games work while installed to the HDD...
Sorry about your luck man.. but your not the first nor the last to post such a quistion... Try Searchin and youll see what I mean..
ps2 games uses diffrent processor and psx game use diffrent processor so if some revoke the psx processor instead of ps2 psx games would run good
maybe he meant doing a "switch" I can get my psx backups to work with launchelf, load it up, swap the disks with my pnp key. go back to browser, and click on the cd. works like a charm for me.

if your talking about PS1 rips then ya you can play rips with out a modchip and what not by booting back to the browser (depends on the PS2 version thou) but Worp wanted to know if a PS1 game will play on HDD.. This will not work..
Funny thing! elsewhere in a forum, a mod with 8000++ posts says its possible...
