Beyond Good & Evil - Sound problem
Beyond Good & Evil - Sound problem –
I find it odd there is not thread or even post about this game in this forum, I thought it was pretty popular.
I'm using OpenPS2Loader 0.7 and I used USBUtil v2.1 Ultimate Rev 1.1 to install Beyong Good & Evil on my pen drive. The starting cut-scenes run well, it appears, but when I actually start playing, there seems to be some problem with the sound, it just starts playing the same sounds over and over really loud (I think it is the fight sounds) and from that moment on they never stop, and I can barely hear anything else during the cut scenes.
Then, after the second fight is over the sounds finally stop, but the game just gives me a white screen with a smooth sound in the background, and just stays there.
I tried turning on every compatibility mode and that didn't do anything, but then again I don't really know what all those are for.
Has anyone been able to run this perfectly? I have seen people on other websites claiming to have done it, but no one with problems like me... I would appreciate any help possible.
PS: If there's something you can understand, please tell me as my English isn't perfect and I'll try to explain it.
EDIT: Crap, I had no idea there was a forum just for Open PS2 Loader, sorry :/
what ps2 r u using, if its a ps2 slim, i would suggest loading games off ur network cuz usb speeds on a slim is very slow
You haven't described how you ripped your game.

Yeah, I was trying that but I'm having trouble with it, when I try to connect it shows a countdown, like 5, 3, 2, and then freezes on 1.

Used USBUtil v2.1 Ultimate Rev 1.1, ripped directly from the DVD to the USB pen drive. Is there a better way?

Edit:also forgot on both videos skip to 3 minutes
I just played it through the network but it is still the same, sadly.
Thanks for the help.
Ive tried many methodes to do it work from usb and hdloader , and that sound problem is always present, you need to play a dvd to succes.
I have a cd rip without that "sounds" at all, and i didnt like it, is not a good gaming experience to play such a game that way.
But i remembering some things ill try if my work let me do it and i`ll tell you.
