I have the well-known "Freeze"-problem.Everything works fine (installing Games on the USB Harddisk, connecting with the Ps2 Slimline and fire up Usbextreme/Advance.if i try to load a Game "Loading...." pop up and nothing happen's.I have read that matrix user's can bypass this problem with Macrofix OFF.Are there comparable solutions for the Crystal chip/other Modchip ?

I have read older articles about this Problem but that doesnt really help.Is Turning off the Chip the only Solution to prevent the "Freeze"-Problem ?

Hi, As I know "Crystal" chip is a clone chip with matrix infinity firmware inside and you can't turn off option function in matrix clone chip otherwise it'll be damaged. Same problem for me! You should buy SWAP DISC and turn off the modchip and using SWAP DISC to load usb advance/extreame

Crystal Chip with Matrix Firmware ? Mhh,i don't believe it. Stupidly as I am,i tried to flash the Chip with the Matrix Firmware 1.45,cause i thought i have a Matrix Chip Inside.Fortunately nothing happened after flashing.Maybe the Crystal Chip has a Built IN Protection against wrong/different Firmware.Anyway, the Chip still work's fine & do his Job very well.
