USBeXtreme problem

When I run USBeXtreme on PS2, it shows up the screen, shows up games installed on my HDD, but when I start the game, black screen shows up and nothing happens. According to the compatibiliy list, the game is compatible with USBeXtreme. So, what is the problem?
Thanks.

P.S. - My HDD is Samsung 500GB. It is formatted to FAT32 and has no external power support. I think that might be the problem.

instead of USBExtreme use OPL 0.8
