I have v1.4.0 from GT4 and TT will that work?
Tutorial in french to personalize your usbloader 0.2b here=> http://www.metagames-eu.com/forums/l...2b-109749.html
All thanks to work Zer0-X .![]()
I tried out that tutorial using the downloads for it too and couldnt get it to work as described, maybe i miss-interpreted it somehow.
I didnt understand the purpose for this step:
After you 'inserted those zero's, you deleted them along with the others, so why add them in the first place?Well now that you right click select "insert" put the same value as I (100000) and apply the operation 2x.
Original French text:
Bon maintenant que vous avez cliquer droit selectionner "insert" mettez la méme valeur que moi (100000) et appliquer l'opération 2x
I also got very different hex values after editing my splash and main images, they were not all zero's as in your video.

I see the problem.
You have to use complex image too, so usbdl is greater than usbdl --- ori.
Usbdl must be exactly the same size as ubdl --- ori, that is why you need to add zero and then delete everything that is after the offset 462944.
To resolve your problem using the image easier, or disable the boot splash.
I hope you understood me.
Sorry bro, i didnt mean any disrespect, your work is well appreciated. I only meant that it was a patched version of USB Advance with a new skin and not a whole new app. I know patching is quite and undertaking in itself, so thanks for your hard work on it.
It was actually sjeep (creator of HD Loader and ToxicOS) who cracked it and zero-x who made the utilities for skinning it i believe.

Yes i did use a complex image, but adding those extra zero's as in your tutorial, then deleting them didnt make any sense. Couldnt you just delete from the offset without adding them to the end of the file? Or did i misunderstand where to add those zeros?
I followed the tutorial as shown in the video and it resulted in a black screen. Yes the file size was the same as the --ORI file, but i deleted more than zeros. I'll try the no splash to see if it makes a difference, but i may have to do it my own way if it dont work.
Edit:
Ok using the no splash option allowed it to work, but that kinda defeats the purpose of re-skinning. I'll experiment with it and figure something out.
