USBAdvance wide open

Reactivating an old thread.Since USBadvance is a Clone of Hdloader/Hdadvance,has anyone checked,if USBadvance has Mode 1,2,3 too ? Maybe this Function is still built in and only deactivated ? Maybe it is possible to patch the USBadvance.elf to include this Feature ? Another Question:Has Hddloader this Feature (Mode Select) already in the first Sale Version or was it later added by talented Coder's ? I think,it's a big Step forward,if someone can at least include Mode 3 in USBadvance.

USBAdvance is NOT a HDLoader clone. It seems it was done from scratch...

mhhh,but it comes from the same manufacturer and uses nearly the same GUI.Guess they just wrote a "new" USB Routine and the Main Core is still the Same.Only my assumption

i tried and download tons of usb extreme /advanced and burn them but they all not working
please can any pro give me garnteed location to download aworking image or files from the usb extreme/advanced
i download the last ver of usb advanced(USBAdvance1[1].Cracked-PS2Scene)
and unpacked it and burn it but no result

by the way i have the slimps2 fully moded and usb hard disk+usb adabter

You need to be more precise in your description. Does "no result" mean that the CD-R you made will not boot at all (Black/Pink "Screen Of Death"?), or does it only mean that it locks up after booting, in searching for the USB device, and fails to respond any further ?

If the CD-R didn't boot at all, then you do need to find another image to burn. Just search for it, they are not that hard to find.

If the CD-R did boot, but the program locked up, then there are two possibilities. Your USB drive might not be supported by the software. This is unusual, but has been reported by some users. A more common problem is that the filesystem installed on the USB device is incompatible in any one of several different ways.

The filesystem format may be FAT/FAT16 or NTFS, or even more exotic variants, none of which can work with USBAdvance. It can only work with FAT32.

Even if your device does have FAT32, it will still be incompatible if the drive uses multiple partitions. You should use the PC-side software that came with USBAdvance/USBExtreme to format your USB device. Only then can you be certain that the formatting is done in an acceptable way.

To ensure that the drive really is reformatted from scratch (not just reindexed), when it already has an old FAT32 filesystem installed, some have found it useful to first reformat the drive to NTFS, using the standard tools of Windows. After that the reformatting to FAT32 will always be 'from scratch', as simple reindexing is then impossible.
