USBAdvance macrovision and modbo chip

hi, got a ps2 slim SCPH-90002 with modbo chip, not sure exactly which one, im guessing modbo4.. when i boot up with circle and triangle pushed it says modbo chip 1.93.

When i load usbadvance i get the black screen, ive read its got to do with macrovision being on. Ive also heard you can brick the chip if you touch this setting.. just wondering if its safe to turn macrovision off with the setup i have??

yes you can save the setting for Modbo 4.0 i had this one before ..and you have to Turn OFF Macrovision

i have a matrix clone, so it seems that MACROVISION doesnt turn off

question:

1. is there a patched version of usbadvance that runs with macro on?
2. instead of usbadvance, can i use directily the hdloader to execute games from my usb harddrive?

1st questions: answer is no.
2nd question: answer HDLoader is only able to run games from Internal HDD " Fat PS2 only" DJ
