usbadvance issues

Hey I'm a newbie at all of this, and so I'm having a bit of a problem. I have found the answers to all of my problems except for this one by reading different forum posts. I have 'swapmagic 3 plus' and usb advance. I know already that my hd is compatible because I have usb advance installed on the hard drive and I don't have to actually swap the cd out for usbadvance to load. Once it loads however and I select a game to play I get a blank screen. My hd shows activity then stops. Black screen stays black. Is this because the games aren't compatible or did I do something wrong?

install the usbadvance ELF to your mem card and keep your games on the usb hdd

how do I put it on my mem card?

you could use launchelf it has a copy/paste option in it.

how is it diff than having it on my hd if it loads from my hd just fine?

Theres no reason to put USBAdvance on the your memory card if it loads fine from HD. I also load the USBAdvance ELF from my HD (useing Swap Magic), works great, and no need to use the limited space on your memory card. I know what im speaking of, as i've gotten about 50 games to work with USBAdvance. :D

As for the game giving you a black screen. Its most likey that the game isnt compatible, or the transfer to the HD got corrupt (i've had it happen a few times).
