Usbadvance help

I have a modded v14 ps2 (don't know what chip), I burned the usbadvance bin/cue onto a CDRW. My ps2 can boot up to the usbadvance menu but when I choose a game and press X, nothing happens, it just stays on that screen with the message that the game is loading. I did try both the DOS utility and Windows utility to format the hdd and copy the games but got the same results.

Does anyone have an idea why it does not load the game?Is it possible that my hdd is not compatible with usbadvance? I did try Tekken 5 which accdg to the compatibility chart is playable but it does not load as well. Please help.

crystal chip you will need to turn chip off and use a factory bought swap magic 3.6 or usdextreme disk

so you mean crystal chip is not compatible with usbextreme and I need to turn it off then use a commercial verison of swap magi or usbextreme? Any other ideas? I do appreciate the reply

I don't think Tekken 5 works it didn't for me

i dont know for definate but i have helped someone else in your situation and turning the chip off and loading swap magic and everything worked fine for him then. you can get swap magic 3.6 for £13 in uk
