Winhiip is not the correct program to use for a USB HDD.
Instead you should use "ul_format.exe" to format the disk, and "ul_install.exe" to install games on it thereafter.
I've never heard of any program named HddManager, but if you mean the subprogram built into uLaunchELF (aka: uLE), then it is naturally unable to see any USB HDD, since it is only designed to handle IDE HDDs.then i plug it in the ps2 and open the program hdloader/hddmanager
As for HDLoader, that too is designed only for IDE HDDs, so you need to use USBAdvance instead.
You are consistently using the wrong software, intended for other hardware.its saying that there are no Usb Hdd connected...?? what do i do wrong ?
If you format the HDD correctly (using ul_format.exe on a PC), then uLE will be able to 'see' it, though not as "hdd0:" (since that is the IDE HDD) but as "mass:" (since that is the name used for any USB mass storage unit, whether HDD or something else).*tried launchelf but it cant see it too
Best regards: dlanor
