    Hello,

Recently, I've been trying to backup my PlayStation 2 games onto my USB Hard Drive. I have a Softmodded PS2 (FreeMCBoot + USBadvance). I have formatted my USB HD to the recommened FAT32. Then using the USBExtreme execute file for Windows, inserted my PS2 Game into my DVD Drive, and copied it over to my Hard Drive. Now, the problem begins when I input my USB HD into my PS2. The USBadvance does recognise my HD but says that no game files are found. However, this is not the case, because I know they are on there. Any clue anyone?

    Thanks,

    Keredin.

Try a different drive. I have a thumb drive that does the same thing.

    Will try this! Thank you!

EDIT: I tried it again using a different USB Hard Drive and worked flawlessly!

Hi, may I know if your using a 2.5 hard drive or 3.5 hard drive? On my experience if I use my 2.5 hard drive I need a usb cable with y splitter. One connection on the hard drive and 2 usb port on the ps2.

    Hope this help.
