when i got tired of trying to get ps2 games 'workable' on the usb (just for kicks) i figured i'd at least try it with some emulators. i noticed that when you load the entry from the usbadv list, it'll let you browse the virtual cd as if it were an actual cd. this is pretty cool. (yes i know this was posted in another post)
my question is probably more of an emulator specific question than an actual hdd question, but since i'm trying to run it with usbadv i figured i'd post it here.
my only problem is that once the emulator loads up and i browse the disc and folders, all i get is the infamous 'par de roms' message. now i've seen posts on this board regarding this, but no real clear answers as how to remedy this ouside of not having multiple nested folders, too many files per folder, etc.
what i have in the root is:
\INFOGB.ELF or INFONES.ELF
then my directories
each with only 100 .gbc rom files in each. and the last folder only has 12 roms.
now, i can see the folders when browsing without a problem, but if i try to enter them i only get the 'pas de roms' message and no rom listing.
i would think that there's some very simple thing i'm missing here, but i don't know what it is. if anyone knows how to get this going and able to browse thru the directories and could share this information, i'd be very greatful.
