USB Advance Source Code?

I was wondering if it would be possible to get the source code of USB advance. So my mate can see if there is ways of upgrading or changing the code to maximise speed (as far as usb 1.1 will go) and game compatibility.

Basically he wants to release a homebrew upgraded 'USB advance V1.1.elf'

Is this homebrew project for HD Advance or USB Advance. I am talking about USB Advance
