USB Advance

Hi all, can someone tell me why do i always have a black screen after i boot usbadvn.elf.

I made a bootable CD of usbadvn.elf => Black Screen
I made a bottable CD of ULE with the elf inside.
- Try to boot the elf from there => Black Screen
- Put the elf in the pendrive => Black Screen
- Put the efl in the MC0/BEDATA-SYSTEM => Black Screen

I also put HDLoader_0.8b.elf and this one works from the CD.

Where did you get it from slicer? I used the 1 from sksapps and it works just fine for me. I havent used it in a while, but when i did, i was using KeyLauncher, maybe try that......just a thought.

It's very important that your external box and hd they are compatible.

That BOX & HD you use?

I use this same elf with my V7, using psone exploit and ule as boot.elf.
i put this elf in my usb pendrive and can load it without a problem.

but in the other console, using ule_cd, from my pendrive, not working.
could it be the hardware of the console ???

I test the elf without any hd connected in both ways.
V7 work PSOne Exploit
7004 no working

i have a folder on my usb drive called usbadvance inside this folder i have the usbadvn.elf i load launchelf press O goto mass then the usbadvance folder now run your usbadvn.elf file that works for me the only differance is i use swap magic 3.6 not the exploit

Ok slicer.

You problem is:

The xploit only works in consoles V3 / V11.

You can try to throw USB_Advance with Swap Magic 3.3
or superior with your pendrive.

does 3.3 let you boot from usb as well i thought it was only 3.6 but if 3.3 lets you as well its better for the scene as more people will have that. I do know you have no chance if your on one of the older v2 swap magics

OK listen, i have a V7 and the elf works great. But with the V12-13, either a burn CD, the ELF from my pendrive or MC are giving black screen. I tried to boot the ELF using a burned CD of ULE. HDLoader ELF works without a problem the same way.

I burned a CD of SwapMagic3.8 Coder and put 3 elf in my pendrive.
USBADVN.ELF as SMBOOT0
HDLoader_FP_0.8b as SMBOOT1
Resident_Evil_Loader (a customize HDL 0.8b) as SMBOOT2

Result are :
SMBOOT0 => Black Screen
SMBOOT1 => Works
SMBOOT2 => Works

how are you booting your v12-13 machine you cant use your exploit as has been mentioned above and you cant use a burned copy of swap magic so you eiter need it chipped or you need a genuine copy of swap magic or usbextreme

Hey, i said i boot ULE burned CD to launch ASBADVN.ELF

So that mean my ps2 is chipped.

I never said i use Exploit for the V12-13, i use it for my V7.
The V12-13 is chipped with a " i dont know wich chip is ".

All burned CD works but the ELF is not working :banghead:
