I have a 250 gig external HDD. Not an enclosure.
Will this work?
ive read tutorials and since i have no idea about this stuff they are quite confusing. Like what do i burn? what partitions are needed on the HDD i use.. etc
I have a ps2. model "scph-50010". With a magic v installed. Works great for burned dvds and cds etc.
All i want to do is this:
in order to preserve the life of my laser i have a broadband netwk adapter and would like to boot my games from HDD instead of dvds.
is there s straight forward tutorial for doing this? I would LIKE to be able to boot a splash screen off my memory card and select the games from the hd that way? is that possible? my laser IS fine so if a boot disc is only way then thats fine. and is it as simple as making isos of my dvds and putting the iso on the HDD. using the bootloader or mem card boot and select the game and play? I have the magic v installed which can be turned on or off if needed.
Please advise or link me to a tutorial that is straight forward for what i want.
thanks so much.
