    Good day to all!

I can't seem to find an answer to my question in the existing threads here. I am a noob with regards to PS2 modding and stuff. Here is my problem, I hope you guys could help. Thanks in advance.

I am using a Slim PS2 console and I have downloaded USBAdvance. I have already prepared my external HDD (Seagate 80gb) and it tested OK using USBUtil ver 1.02. The problem is that when I try to load it using USBAdvance, it doesn't seem to detect the HDD and then the screen freezes (at first the "Start" button blinks but after a few seconds it freezes).

Am I doing something wrong? I have followed every guide in copying my games onto the hard drive but I can't seem to get past the loading screen.

Thank you for your help guys!

It could simply be that particular HDD isnt compatible with USB Advance, not every HDD is. If you have another HDD to try, see if it is recognised just to rule out if its the program or the HDD.

You also might try this app, USB Disk Storage Format, it allows creation of a FAT32 volume larger than 32 GB.

Well, i can only recommend the ones i've used......a Maxtor 200GB Personal Storge 3100 and a Western Digital 500GB My Book.

Ive also used a few USB flash sticks just to test with and they also worked.....a PNY 2GB and a San Disk 4GB.
