So if I have the ISO's that I've ripped from my games - is there any way of transfering these across to the HDD for USB Extreme to recognise?
Or is the only way to actually go through the official process of copying directly from DVD to HDD?
Cheers.

uhm, u want to put games on a USB stick and then copy them to your PS2 HDD ? well u must have a big USB stick since games are around 2 - 4 GB lol.
But to be honest i dont know, HDLoader will not reconize a USB stick, but u can use HDL dumb to send games from PC to HDD.

...what? Where did you get USB stick from?? You don't understand my question.
I have ripped ISO's from my games - and I want to transfer them across to my HDD so that USB Extreme recognises it.
Is this method possible in any way?
easiest way is connect hard drive to pc and use winhiip or hdldump to put the games on
sorry m8, i did not undertsand correctly.
just use a virtual dvd drive like daemon or the alcohol120 or nero one..
If you have an external HDD then just plug it in your USB port on the computer then use WinHIIP. I've used HDL_Dumb, but it didn't work so well. WinHIIP is pretty self-explanitory, you just select the ISOs you want to load on the HDD and it will do it.
If you have an internal HDD there is a simple solution. Just get an adapter like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812156101
It's a IDE-to-USB adapter. It's tedious to open up your PC case and have to reboot the computer to install internal HDDs. So you just use that adapter and it turns it into an external drive. It also helps when a game doesn't work with HDLoader. You use that same adapter and plug your HDD into the USB ports on the PS2 and try it with USBAdvance. I've heard that SOCOM 3 works with USBAdvance (it doesn't work on HDLoader). I'll have to try it out and see...
