well, as most of you know the PlayStationPortable have support for memory sticks. and you can get upto 2gb of storage on it (even more with hdd stuff).

and i thougt of this: maby the PSP can work as a HDD for the PS2. I know that PSP works with LaunchELF, copying files from it.

it would be kinda nice, since you can transfer iso files pretty fast from pc to psp. but you might need to format it as a ps2 hdd?

this is just an idea, i havent tested it and will not even test it since i have a old PS2 with hdd

USB advance uses the PC Windows NTFS format partition which would work i even put my own personal files on the USB Hard drive itself but i don't know if the PSP memory stick would work though it uses FAT format partition i'll give it a try tonite.

    Update: no go

Hi there, Maybe it could work but maybe not.
USB advance/extreme uses both Fat and NTFS file systems. i can confirm that myself because i plug my digital camera and it worked, too bad i only have a 32MB SD CARD so obviously no commercial game could fit there. but i was able to boot other apps like small games developed by the scene.
    So try yourself.
Also i have a 6 GB Ipod Mini so i thought of using it as my Hdd but the thing is that i think USB Advance uses an old driver for recognizing USB MASS devices cause Keylauncher can detect my IPOD as a USB devicebut USB ADvance cannot. it simply doesnt work with my ipod the appp didnt recognize it
