Problems with usb advance

Hi I am having trouble with usb advance. The games play ok but the cut-scenes always skip....its like the hdd cannot go fast enough. Can anyone help? TIA! BTW I have v12 ps2 and dsm4 pro

usbadvance is slow using the ps2 usb 1.1 = 1.5MB/s [8x cd-rom = 1.2MB/s], cut scenes will skip.

since you have a v12 ps2 you can always install hdcombo (ide mod).
