how to connect USB Hdd

It is possible to connect USB HDD to PS2 V15 SCPH 77000, Crystal Pro 2 modchip. If so, can anyone guide me. Is it possible to create images on HDD and load them through PS2.

in think its possible but you know the USBHDD its too slow for running games and many games wont run..
so the best method till now is HDcombo www.Hdcombo.com
(which is only for v12,13)

so sorry you can not use this method..

alsso there is another method direct connect (Compatible with v12-v13 USA, EUR, JAP PlayStation 2 consoles (NTSC and PAL). )

so breifly the two methods are not compatible with your console so sorry ..

iam telling you again you may want to use USB HDD .but its sucks for playing games off hdd.

The usb's connected to ps2 are not hi-speed ?

I tried connecting usb thumb drive, but its contents were not displayed. Do I need to install any software to enable usb drive.

nope its usb1.1 and its slow

format it to Fat32

and not all usb thumb drive are compatible with ps2

Hi I am also wanting to play backups from my hdd. I have a PS2 Slim v13. I just want to ask you is it easy to install PS2 XCM HD Connect? If not do you know where I can get it done?

for ps2 v12,13 the hdcombo is the best method (till now)
