blank black screen

hmm, i run USBADVN.ELF that i donload from skapps, its only give me blank black screen
and sometime give me some horizontal white lines on the bottom of my TV, and the background is just black,

and my gamepad 1 analog light cant turn be turned on or off

i use PS2 70006 modbo 1.1

all other elf works perfect on my PS2, only this USBADVN.ELF thats not working

anyone have idea ?

there still no solution to make the blank black screen problem dissapear.

hmm, but from what i read there, it seems that USBAdvance not compatible with v12 PS2..

duh.. and my PS2 is V12...

is there any solution or maybe, any other alternative software?

yes there was a solution get either a original copy of usb advance or swap magic 3.6. what are you using to boot your backup version of usbadvance at the moment. there is only one thing that doesnt work on a version 12 ps2 and thats the mem card exploit

i use uLaunchelf ver 4.06 to boot the usbadvance.elf from my usb mass storage.
and its very hard here to get the original copy of USBAdvance,

but why the USBAdvance.elf can boot correctly on my friend PS2, he have the BIG PS2?
but still give blnk black screen on my slim ps2 T_T

Ok, but uLaunchELF is NOT built into the PS2 BIOS, so you must be using something else to get uLaunchELF to boot up to begin with.

ALL bootup details are relevant here, as some of them can interfere with proper operation of USBAdvance.

For example, the so-called 'Macrovision Fix' of the Matrix Infinity mod-chip, and all clones of that chip, will make it impossible to use USBAdvance, resulting always in a black screen such as you describe. And since that fix is ON by default, all users of such chips will get that symptom when they first try USBAdvance.

Trying to turn such a fix OFF will work fine only if your chip is a genuine MI, but for clones the very attempt to change any setting will permanently kill the chip.

argh. i use modbo.. cant turn off my macrovision fix...

btw, i boot the ulaunchelf from MC0 using R1 button.

now i know its imposible for me to use HD advance.

now i need to buy genuine MI...
