MM3 works in the PSone. You must use the following:
- for SCPH 100: MM3JAP.HEX (you also need a JAP bootdisk for PAL games)
- for SCPH 101: MM3USA.HEX (you don't need a boot disk)
- for SCPH 102: MM3EUR.HEX (you also need an EUR bootdisk for NTSC games)
If you don't want to use the bootdisk then you must patch the games according to the video mode of the PSone (in your case you have to patch the PAL games to NTSC)
As far as I know, there is no available code for bootdisk free operation for JAP consoles. If there is, and anyone of you has it, please tell us about it.
Thanks Emanuel. I think I have the wrong code in the chip then. Oh well live and learn.
Thanks again.
does anyone have the MM3USA.HEX ?
I found it in this thread, in the last post
