Where to buy PS1 laser

Does anyone know where a fella could buy a new PS1 laser? I've got a 5501 that needs a new laser.

I've ordered one from RichsPSXParts.com and he's given me the run-around. It's been two months and I still haven't received it, so I'm guessing that I'm never going to see it. Does anyone know of an alternative place to get one of these?

Ebay is a good bet. I need to get one to restore an old scph1001 to working order again.

Just decided to post another update...

I STILL haven't received the laser from richspsxparts.com and he's not returning my emails anymore (how's that for great service!).

I actually ended up ordering one from playstationconnection.com and it works great. I just thought I would give anyone a 'heads-up' in case they're thinking about dealing with richspsxparts.com

That's odd coming from Rich. I deal with him all the time, even special orders that he doesn't have listed on the site. ...but I've only dealt with ps2 parts.

Yup,... I never did receive the laser and he stopped returning my emails. I've given up on any hope of ever seeing that laser.
