I have used 3 of these MM3 modchip PSX (USA) chips and they work great on PSOne as well as my other 2 fattys that I had lieing around..

Being somewhat offtopic, if you *really* love some of your old ps1 games you should concider picking up a psp, so you can play those great ps1 games on the road and at home (though not so good if you have friends you wanna play with since there's no way to get another player in on the action). You can even hook the psp slim's up to your tv as well to play your games if you have a progressive scan newer television with componant in on it. Though I can see price wise why you would rather just mod a ps1, they are dirt cheap now and a stealth modchip is only 8 wires to solder to the motherboard, and it won't break your heart so much if you burn up a 25 dollar ps1.
scooter: do you by any chance think that this version would work for Australian pal PSX?
