Is that true? –
sorry for my bad english but I try to explain what I mean.
In the last few days I get a few used old psx(ps1) machines and I had a look about my old files for them on my pc.
I recover an old .bin .cue image from a man who is known in the psx-scene as da expert.
He released a boot disk and a software vcd player for the psx.
But I remember that this stuff doesnt work anytime for me and so I try it again yesterday.
But the same result.
So here are my questions:
1. Is it possible that you can burn the normal "pressed" code of sony ,that is in the bootchip,if you "compile" or convert it to the subcode area of a CD???
I have read his explaining text and he wrote that this is true.....
Is it possible without that converting to copy 1:1 with the special burners for manufacturs, who can make a MASTERCOPY?Because I see one time a very cheap offer in ebay to buy a pioneer s-Series burner.I'm not sure about the exact name but it was a special burner like I explained.
2.Is it possible that the psx could use as a software mpeg player?I bought 2000 an extra card of hardware for the parallel port to play vcd's on my chipped PSX.It is of a taiwan manufactur named GAMARS and sometime you will found it o ebay. There are 3 versions,2 long horizontal cards fitted in the psx parallel and multi av ports, one with a gamebuster inside ,one not and one vertikal version ,like the most game enhancer cards designed.
Thanx if anyone has the experience to answer me correctly!
