Rebuilding PSX Iso –
08-22-2008,05:55 AM
I know how to rebuild a PS2 ISO. I've done that a few times now using CDmage and ImgBurn.
I tryed to do it the same way with a PSX game, but the ISO comes out as MODE1. I know it has to be MODE2. What did I do wrong and how do I go about fixing it?
I read around the net and lot of people don't know what they are talking about...
Do I need any other programs to do this? Is there a setting in ImgBurn? I don't like to have a bunch of programs installed, dirties up the system.

Thanks for replying kevstah! However, those guide are for ripping games. I already have the ISO on my computer. I need to rebuild the ISO as you would do with a PS2 game. Not in MODE1 but in MODE2.
What I did was open the ISO in CDmage and extract the files to a folder. Opened ImgBurn and choose to create image out of folder. Then i took the information that CDmage displays about the game and entered that into ImgBurn. Selected ISO9660 and created the ISO. When it comes out the other end it is in MODE1. That is my problem.

ImgBurn is DVD orientated it was called DVDDecryptor or something before it was renamed to ImgBurn you need a program that'll create CD ISO's.
