Hello
I orderd some modchips (mm3) from my supplier, but im not having much succes in installing them, i installed old chips but i dont know what hex was on them , i just got them and installed them with the diagram i got.
I have been told that mm3 is programmed to work only on one region console.
So i asked my supplier and he said that it would work on every console and that it is region free, i read alot of stuff about these old chips being able to be installed on every console, and now that mm3 isnt..
Im confused i got like 7 of these chips, and i dont know what to do.
I have pal consoles and 1 scph-1000 ntsc-j console i used a old pic for this console.

Look what chips (PICīs) you have.
If youīre lucky and you got "PIC12F629" then you can build the cheap-progger and prog the PICīs again with the right hex, cause the PIC12F629 are rewritable....
And i donīt think that the mm3 is region-free, cause i have a package there are 3 hex in it of mm3. EU,US,JAP....

1229. lame... now i got like 7 of these good for nothing chips, i bet they are ntsc-u . (i orderd them from china, no succes in installing in a PAL console, and now succes installing in NTSC-J but... it was a messed up scph-1000, i got it chipped with a old crow chip now)
