My psone has a broken fuse. The fuse number is PS606. Can some one tell me what kind of fuse this is or where I can get a replacement fuse.
Thanks

you can try it in a store of electronics components or ... put a wire very thin to its place
Does anyone know the current and voltage rating of the fuses for the psone scph-101.
I ask the guy at an Active Electronics store and he didnt know.

It's 2A no voltage for fuse
no that's wrong
the fuses are all 1A
here something
20 =1A
15 =0.75A
50=2.5A
I'm sorry, in the image that I have found in my PC has seemed to read "50" to me
but I can be mistaken.
The fuse actually says: "SO" and there are little numbers on the bottom- "049".
I added a 1A microfuse and that seemed to work but when I flicker the reset/power switch it blew the fused that I installed. Im guessing that this fuse is a 2 amp fuse, or my modchip is causing the fuse to break when I push the power button on and off really quickly the fuse blows out.
Thanks for your input and help.

I have the same problem. I think "SO" fuses are same "50" = 2,5 A. Now I try with another fuses 2,5A and post the result
don't do that!!!!!
all psone fuses are only 1A
if solder a 2.5 A fuses ,it will work a while ,then it will die forever(you will lose the main processor)
look for what makes the fuse off ,a lot of problems is due to modchip(bad install or bad hex)
It is common fault , as replacement i use only ROHM N25 "IC protectors", i've changed 100's and always use N25 (original "20" are weak and will blow again).
in most cases this fault is caused by shock-motors in controllers they consume more curent ,or by spindle/sled driver or motor.
sometime only one fuse ,rare 2.
SMD N25 are hard to find so i use N25 in transistor-like package
,cut pins to 5-6mm and bent them to fit in the place of original smd fuse.
The new v2 psone use really small (smd resistor like )fuses.
