HI, i am new here and hoping to get some help.

    What i did:
I programmed a 12f675 i/p with 12f629 hex. This chips are very similar according to datasheetīs. I installed chip in PS1 SPCH-1002 pu-8.
afther this PS1 recognizes backupīs only as audio cd. MY originals CDīs working just fine.

can enyone help me solve this problem ? can enyone (if needed) rewrite hex to support a 12f675 chip ?

Thanks and sorry for my bad English

Most likely you either - programmed the chip wrong, the chip is not compatible or you installed it wrong, you need to triple check all of these things.
