Does anyone know anythign about the pocketstation? More pecifically the chocobo world mini game that you get from FF8? From what I understand from the guides and FAQs that I have read, you can only get the rare items in the game if you have a low ID number. I found a guide on how to make my own program to send a signal to the pocketstation to make it think it was fighting a chocobo with a low ID number but I don't know much about programing and I couldn't figure it out. (The guide was here. http://plumeria.vmth.ucdavis.edu/~saintly/) I was hoping to find a program already made that all I had to do was load it up and use my infared port to send the info to my pocketstation. Also if there is anything else that you you can do with a pocketstation, like if there are any homebrew games that you can download to it or other things like that (like the rumor that you can ue it as a universal remote), please let me know and where I can find that. I know this is pretty old and probably no one uses it but I jsut recently bought one and I am playing FF8 over again so I can do the whole chobo world thing and I woudl really liek to get the low ID nubmer so I can get the rare items.
Hmmm do you know those Memory Cards made by Blaze which contain 4x 15 saveslots? when you put them in your ps2 it shows up as pocketstation, do you think it would be possible to download a savegame onto that memory card and ff8 will read it as pocketstation data?
Sry for "answering" your question with another question lol
Sorry. I have no idea about that. The only thing I can say is try it and see if it works. Like I said before, I just recently bought one and the only thing I know how what to do with it is to play chocobo world. But anything you find out please let me know.
well when I tried to transfer some data onto that Blaze Memory Card it corrupted my whole Memory Card
so i guess that won't work :(
I have several non-Sony PS1 cards that show up as a PockeStation in the PS21 MC Browser....
I've never had a game think that it was... Although I'm not sure if I have any games that have Pocket games on it.....
